So here is a possible idea

Alternative Roof Drainage Solutions

An alternative way of erecting a roof in order to allow for internal storm water drainage. This will remove the need for gutters which many modern buildings spend a lot of money on depending on the type of gutter used. The idea is to invert the standard roof structure ie. from ^ to v in order to create a central drainage point built into the central column of a building which is insulated to minimize noise within the structure. I'll try bring some designs to class to illustrate. Let me know what you think . . .

  1. I like this idear... think we must get together to brain storm it. +any other possible idears.

Also think we could incorporate a green building aspect, by recycling the water using it for things like water for the toilet, or "grey water"
